EXCLUSIVE: Kenya Moore Reveals She Is Still Legally Married Amid Pending Divorce + Admits She Is Dating
It looks like Kenya Moore has been on the dating scene despite still being legally married!
During an exclusive interview with theJasmineBRAND, ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star Kenya Moore revealed that she is still legally married to ex, Marc Daly. When asked if she was officially divorced, Kenya said,
“I’m not officially divorced, no. Isn’t that crazy? No.”
The RHOA vet then admitted that she has gone on a few dates despite being legally married. She said:
“I definitely have been going out on a few dates, but have been so busy. I’ve been booked and busy!”
When asked if she’s on a dating app, Kenya says she’s meeting men in a different way. She explained,
“No, I’m not on a dating app yet but I wouldn’t shun the opportunity to be on a dating app. I’m meeting them through friends–like introductions. It’s just very weird ways that I’m meeting people but definitely I think it’s more through introductions. “
As previously reported, the reality tv star filed for divorce from her ex Marc Daly back in May of 2021. In March of this year, however, Marc accused Kenya Moore of withholding important financial records needed for settlement negotiations. According to a report from RadarOnline, Kenya Moore agreed to relinquish all necessary documents.
Reportedly, SoCo restaurant owner Marc Daly previously told a court judge that his estranged wife was taking months to hand in basic legal documents. Subsequently, Marc asked a court judge to order the reality star to turn in the documents.
According to reports, the former couple appeared for a hearing in April, where Kenya admitted to not turning in all required papers due to “privacy concerns.” By the end of the session, however, it seems both parties were able to reach a confidentiality agreement. Additionally, Kenya agreed to release the necessary financial documents, moving the settlement negotiations forward.
Kenya Moore originally filed for divorce from Marc Daly after being married for four years and having one child, daughter Brooklyn, together. The Dancing With The Stars contestant credited the split to a “bonafide state of separation” and an “irretrievably broken” marriage, with no hope for a reconciliation.
