Khloe Kardashian & Kris Jenner Cry Over Tristan Thompson’s Cheating Scandal As Birth Of 2nd Baby Approached

With the release of The Kardashians Season 2 Teaser, viewers are getting a personal look into the turmoil Khloe Kardashian has been dealing with due to Tristan Thompson’s latest cheating scandal.

In the new clip released Tuesday (Sept. 20),  both Khloe Kardashian, 38, and her mom Kris Jenner, 66, became emotional as they addressed the reality star welcoming a second child with the NBA star amid his betrayal. As you may already know, Tristan Thompson fathered a child with Maralee Nichols while still dating Khloe.

Khloe begins,

“There is something that I’m ready to talk about. Tristan and I are having another baby.”

The Good American co-founder then stars to cry as she says,

“It’s supposed to be a really exciting time, and it’s just a different experience.”

The scandal also affected Kris Jenner as it was difficult to see her daughter go through a troubling time. She says,

“It’s hard to watch her in pain.”

Although it’s been a “difficult time” in her life, Khloe says it’s also the

“start of something positive and happy, and beautiful.”

As previously reported, Tristan Thompson, 31, confessed to fathering a child with a Houston woman named Maralee Nichols via Instagram in Jan. Maralee claims that their child was conceived in Houston in March 2021 following Tristan Thompson’s 30th birthday party celebration. At the time the Chicago Bulls player was still dating reality star/mother of his 2nd child, Khloe Kardashian.

After a months-long paternity battle, Tristan Thompson is now paying Maralee Nichols child support, but reportedly has not made efforts to meet the son he shares with her.

His lawyer told reporters last month that the now father-of-four “is paying, and has paid, child support to Ms. Nichols retroactive to the date she delivered the child,” confirming Tristan has paid back child support from when she gave birth in December.

Despite getting his child support payments with Nichols on track, he has still not yet met his son, Theo. A source said:

“Tristan has still made no attempt to meet his 8-month-old son, Theo. It was not until recently that Tristan started paying child support.”

Thompson shares his oldest child, 5-year-old Prince Thompson with influencer/socialite Jordan Craig, 31. The professional athlete has had an on-again-off-again relationship with Khloe Kardashian for some time. As previously reported, they initially started dating in 2016 and welcomed their daughter True Thompson, now 4-years-old, into the world in 2018. That same year, days before Khloe Kardashian gave birth, news broke that Thompson had cheated on the Good American brand owner.

Khloe and Tristan just welcomed a baby boy via surrogate last month, a process that had begun before the athlete’s latest cheating scandal.
