Kanye West Finally Moves To Finalize Divorce From Kim Kardashian
Kanye West is finally ready to settle his divorce from his estranged wife Kim Kardashian.
According to RadarOnline, Kanye West hired one of the most high-powered attorneys in Hollywood, California to help him finalize his divorce from beauty mogul Kim Kardashian. Before hiring this attorney, Grammy award winner Kanye West hired up to six attorneys to help him with his divorce. As previously reported, in September the “Heartless” artist received help from the lawyer who represented Melinda Gates in her multi-billion dollar divorce case with Bill Gates.

Recent court documents state that Kanye filed a “declaration of disclosure,” which is filed when a divorce case is on the verge of being settled. The documents also disclose that the rapper has sent over all of his financial information to Kim Kardashian. The ex-couple has allegedly settled how they plan to split up their multi-billion dollar empire, but they reportedly haven’t come to terms with who will receive custody of their four children: North, 9, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3.

Previously, the Chicago native admitted that he wasn’t willing to “compromise” when it comes to his kids’ education. Kanye, founder of the Donda Academy, said:
“Right now we’ve come to a compromise — but I’m not finished because I don’t compromise — but we’ve come to a compromise that my kids come to my school after school and they learn choir.”
The Skims founder, who filed for divorce from the Yeezy fashion designer in 2021, currently has custody of their children the majority of the time and has allegedly cut off communication with her estranged husband after his social media rants. An insider stated:
“They have had zero communication in several weeks, and all communication regarding the kids’ schedules are now coordinated through assistants.”
An insider added:
“Kardashian felt it was best to end the marriage when she realized she could no longer help someone that didn’t want to be helped.”
Kanye’s decision to move forward with his divorce proceedings comes weeks after he made headlines for his alleged racist and antisemitic remarks. As previously reported, Wednesday night (Oct. 12) Ye addressed all of the brands that dropped him over his recent social media rants as he left the screening of Candace Owen’s new anti-Black Lives Matter documentary. Referring to Adidas and JP Morgan Chase he said:
“Hey, if you call somebody out for bad business, that means you’re being anti-Semitic. I feel happy to have crossed the line of that idea so we can speak openly about things like getting canceled by a bank.”
The 45-year-old was also blasted after his latest appearance on N.O.R.E’s podcast “Drink Champs” after claiming the late fashion designer Virgil Abloh was murdered and George Floyd wasn’t. George Floyd’s family has since filed a lawsuit against the rapper due to his false claims.
