Keyshia Cole Withdrew Her Son From Kanye West’s Donda Academy Following The Rappers Antisemetic Remarks: After Ye Said He Was Back To Shoot The School Up That Scared Me
Keyshia Cole no longer wants her son to receive an education at Kanye West’s Donda Academy.
On Thursday (Oct. 27) the mother of two was tagged on a tweet that questioned the parenting of someone who would send their children to an unaccredited institution where you allegedly have to sign a non disclosure agreement and pay $15,000 a year to be enrolled.
Keyshia Cole enlightened her fans that she will be finding another school for her son Daniel Gibson Jr.:
“I took my DJ out of Donda. Sadly after ye said he was back to shoot the school up, that scared me a bit.”
The singer also clarified rumors of her signing a NDA:
“And there was no NDA signed . Idk who may have but that wasn’t brought up to us.”
As previously reported, Kanye West’s Donda Academy, named after his late mother Professor Donda West, was closed effective immediately on (Oct. 27) as it became a part of the fallout from the Yeezy designer’s recent antisemitic remarks including the death of George Floyd, going “death con 3” on the Jewish community, and his stance against “Black Lives Matter.”
However, within a few hours the unaccredited K-8 private Christian school opened back up and stated in an email that:
“the children of Donda are going to change the world.”
ICYMI: Kanye West opened a Christian private school called Donda Academy. Parents must sign NDAs to have their children attend. Price: $15,000 a year. The school’s not accredited. Here’s a video of kids from his Donda school singing “Good Morning, Donda.” pic.twitter.com/H9LrfTjKd6
