The three-part special follows newlyweds Shaunie O’Neal and Keion Henderson, along with their nearest and dearest friends and family members, as they get ready for their destination wedding. They will balance work obligations, the leadership of a 15,000-member church, and wedding duties, along the road in preparation for one of the most memorable moments of their lives: saying “I do.”
As previously reported, Shaunie, the Basketball Wives creator and ex-wife of retired NBA star Shaquille O’Neal, and Keion Henderson tied the knot on the Caribbean island of Anguilla. The engagement was announced in November of last year, with Shaunie previously sharing that her beau “filled a void” in her life and gets along very well with her children. During an interview, the TV personality said,
“[Keion has been] amazing to just step into our lives and fill a void that’s been there for a minute … ’cause I haven’t had somebody…. They love him, which makes me love him even more.”
Shaunie and Shaquille O’Neal were married for five years and share five children: Amirah, Me’arah, Myles, Shareef and Shaqir. Keion was also married previously (from 2015-2016) and reportedly shares two daughters with his ex-wife.
During an interview with Mind Blowing Magazine, Keion defined his own understanding of marriage. He said,
“If I were to give you the definition of marriage, the collision of two histories. That’s all it is. The collision of two histories, and the magic that happens when two worlds collide.”

He continued,
“Could you imagine what’s in her planet that my planet doesn’t have? And what’s in my planet that her planet doesn’t have? And that the fertile soil is ready to reproduce in the intersectionality of those words to create a super planet.”
