Chris Brown Wants The Court To Postpone $71M Case Involving Ex-Housekeeper Who Claims His Dog ‘Savagely’ Attacked Her
Chris Brown has no desire to battle it out in court with his ex-housekeeper, at least not anytime soon.
Radar Online reports that the artist wants the court case with his former employee who claims his dog violently attacked her postponed until after January 3, 2023.
Chris Brown said his former maid has not yet named, served, or identified any of the other defendants in the lawsuit, including his dog breeder. He also claimed she skipped getting the proper medical examinations from a professional of his choosing.
According to reports, the ex-housekeeper, under the pseudonym Jane Doe, claimed that on December 12, 2020, in the singer’s California estate, Chris Brown’s dog attacked her. Jane Doe said that she was unaware of the singer’s “vicious, killer attack dogs.”
Hades, Brown’s Orvchake/Caucasian Shepherd, was one of the dogs. According to Jane Doe, Brown let the dog wander around on a leash.
The worker said that as soon as she stepped outside to dump the trash, the dog appeared out of nowhere and viciously attacked her. It “savagely” bit her face, arms, and body, per the lawsuit. Jane Doe added that the animal tore significant pieces of her flesh off.
The housekeeper reported that she was bleeding and trying to cover her face and body while lying on the floor. She then noted that she observed Brown approaching her while he was on his cell phone and overheard him ordering his security officers to get the animal off the property.
Jane Doe requested $71 million in compensation for the alleged occurrence.
