12 kids may just be enough to satisfy media mogul Nick Cannon.
The Wildin’ Out creator recently spoke to media personality Tetris Kelly on the red carpet at the Billboard Live: R&B/Hip-Hop Power Players event. During their chat, Nick Cannon provided an update on his music career.
“I got a record with Chris Brown out now called ‘I Do.’ It’s always working, more on the executive side, we got a lot of hot young artists coming up, so we’re excited about next year.”

The two then discussed Nick Cannon’s family. In addition to Monroe and Moroccan by singer Mariah Carey, the entertainer has 11 children all under the age of five. He’s also expecting another child — baby number 12 — with model Alyssa Scott. While speaking about his large family, Nick Cannon, 42, shared,
“That’s my number one priority obviously. I wake up being a father thinking about my kids and everything else comes after that.”
Nick Cannon’s decision to have multiple children by different women has sparked countless debates. However, he seems happy to have fathered so many kids and even credits them for his success.
“My kids are definitely the creative force in all that I do. They’re the funniest, most innovative, best questions…every project I’m working on now is through their eyes.”
When asked if he plans on having any more children after his 12th arrives, Nick replied,
“I don’t know, man. I have no idea. I think I’m good right now!”

Since his divorce from Mariah Carey in 2016, the Masked Singer host has conceived nine more children with five different women. The birth announcements are normally publicly shared by Nick and each of the expectant women via lavish maternity photos or gender reveals. His co-parenting partners include Brittney Bell, mother of Golden Sagon, 5, Powerful Queen, 1, and Rise, 3 months. Abby De La Rosa, mother of twins Zion and Zillionaire, and 1-week-old Beautiful Zeppelin. Bre Tiesi, mother of 5-month-old Legendary Love. Lanisha Cole, mother of 2-month-old Onyx. Nick and Alyssa Scott lost their son, Zen, in 2021 to brain cancer. They are currently waiting for the birth of their second child together.
