Al Roker Rushed Back To Hospital Via Ambulance Amid Ongoing Health Issues
Praying Al Roker has a speedy recovery!
According to reports, Al Roker was rushed back to the hospital in an ambulance the day after Thanksgiving amid his ongoing health issues due to blood clots.
The “Today” host reportedly fell ill just a day after being released from the hospital and missing out on hosting the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade for the first time in 27 years.
Al Roker, 68, was taken away by ambulance as his frantic wife, ABC News journalist, Deborah Roberts, attempted to break into their malfunctioned Tesla to retrieve her mobile phone to follow her husband to the uptown Manhattan hospital, sources shared.
One witness said,
“Al was taken from his home in a stretcher back to the hospital on Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. His condition was worrying, but once back in the hospital, he improved.”
The source continued,
“His wife, Deborah, was understandably very upset. She had left her phone and other possessions inside their Tesla, which had malfunctioned and wouldn’t unlock, so she was trying to smash in a window…Deborah then went to the hospital by taxi with her daughter, where Al has since been surrounded by his family.”

Al Roker and His Family
Roker and Roberts — who have been married since 1995 — share daughter Leila, 24, and son Nicholas, 20. The meteorologist also has a daughter, Courtney, 35, with ex-wife Alice Bell.
As previously reported, the beloved weatherman was hospitalized earlier this month due to blood clots in his leg and lungs. Al Roker took to Instagram to respond to fans concerned over his “Today” show absence. Al Roker shared a picture of a bouquet of flowers along with a detailed caption about his hospitalization.
The 68-year-old wrote:
“So many of you have been thoughtfully asking where I’ve been. Last week I was admitted to the hospital with a blood clot in my leg which sent some clots into my lungs.”
He added,
“After some medical whack-a-mole, I am so fortunate to be getting terrific medical care and on the way to recovery. Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers and hope to see you soon. Have a great weekend, everyone.”

We’re praying Al Roker has a speedy recovery!
