TV personality Al Roker has returned home following his latest hospital stay. He recently shared the exciting news with his 882K Instagram followers. The weatherman posted a series of images of himself smiling in his home alongside loved ones. He captioned the post,
“Home! So incredibly grateful to family, friends, medical folks, @todayshow family and all your thoughts and prayers”

Original Story (Dec. 8, 2022): Celebrity weatherman Al Roker is on the road to recovery.
The 68-year-old TV personality shared hopeful sentiments regarding his health, after being admitted to the hospital several times due to ongoing health struggles.

Earlier today (December 8th), Roker posted a photo of a sunrise with the caption:
“Hopefully coming home soon but when your spirit sags a bit, you get to see that and recharge. God Bless you all for all the prayers and well wishes for me and my family.”


Many of the “Today Show” anchor’s 880,000+ Instagram followers sent well wishes in the comments section following the post. Subsequent to an extended absence from the network, NBC disclosed that Roker was dealing with ongoing health struggles. Reportedly, the weatherman has not appeared on the daily broadcast series since November 4th. After missing his hosting gig at the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Roker’s co-host Hoda Kotb stated on the live show:
“We all wish that Al could have been with us but due to some complications, he is back in the hospital and he’s in very good care…Al and his family want everybody to know how grateful they are for all the love, the support and the well wishes,”
Reportedly, the journalist’s health has been compromised due to blood clots in his legs and lungs. Roker’s wife Deborah Roberts recently stated she was “remaining positive” amid her husband’s health scares.

Reports state that Roker was staying in the hospital prior to turkey day but was released to celebrate with his family. The TV anchor was reportedly readmitted immediately after the holiday to continue undergoing treatment and monitoring.
