Tory Lanez & Kelsey Nicole Allegedly Tested Positive For Gun Powder Residue Following Alleged Shooting Involving Megan Thee Stallion + Kelsey Expected To Testify At Trial

The storyline surrounding the alleged shooting incident involving Tory Lanez, Megan Thee Stallion, and now Kelsey Nicole Harris continues to develop.

Tory Lanez is accused of shooting at Megan Thee Stallion, wounding her in both feet, after shouting “Dance, b*tch“ in July 2020.

Nancy Dillon, a senior reporter for Rolling Stone, provided updates on the trial on Monday (Dec. 12) as opening statements in the felony assault trial kicked off in a downtown Los Angeles courtroom. Dillon said,

“Lanez denies being shooter. Megan will testify & is adamant she saw Lanez fire. Lanez’s atty plans to present theory Megan’s former best friend Kelsey Harris could have discharged gun. (Both Lanez & Harris tested+ for GSR… it travels in small spaces). Harris also due to testify.”

Dillon claimed Tory Lanez and Kelsey Nicole, Megan Thee Stallion‘s former BFF who was also present during the night in question, both tested positive for gunpowder residue.

According to Dillon,

“Prosecutor said in opening statement that Kelsey Harris will testify that she “saw her close friend get shot by the defendant.”

As previously reported, Tory is accused of shooting Megan while they were together in a Hollywood Hills neighborhood at about 4:30 a.m. on July 12, 2020. He was initially charged with two counts of assault with a semiautomatic weapon and carrying a loaded, unregistered weapon inside a moving vehicle.

The Canadian rapper has since been hit with a third felony charge in connection to the shooting for allegedly using a firearm negligently.

Several celebrities will likely attend the trial, as the “Say It” artist reportedly intends to call reality TV star Kylie Jenner and her mother’s boyfriend Corey Gamble as witnesses. According to Tory’s legal team, the dispute that led to the incident that night began at Kylie Jenner’s pool party in Los Angeles, which Corey Gamble also attended.
