Tory Lanez Lists Kylie Jenner & Corey Gamble As Potential Witnesses In Megan Thee Stallion Shooting Case
The renowned shooting trial between Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion has officially kicked off.
In the first days of court sessions, jury selection for the trial began and Tory Lanez shared with the court judge his list of potential defense witnesses.
According to reports, Tory Lanez – real name Daystar Peterson, 30, is planning to call reality star Kylie Jenner, 25, and her mother’s boyfriend Corey Gamble, 42, to the witness stand. Reportedly, Tory’s legal team stated that the night in question stemmed from an argument that started at Jenner’s pool party in L.A. where Gamble was also in attendance.

A reporter who attended the legal session tweeted about the update, writing:
“Tory’s lawyer told the judge that Kylie Jenner and Corey Gamble are on his list of possible defense witnesses because they were present at Kylie’s pool party before the July 2020 shooting…’The argument, everything started there,’ George Mgdesyan says”

The reporter added:
“To clarify: Tory’s lawyer admitted in court he doesn’t have witness statements from Kylie Jenner or Corey Gamble yet (prosecutors asked). So it’s not clear what they might say, if it would even be relevant.”

Tory is currently facing assault with a semiautomatic firearm and carrying a concealed firearm in a vehicle charges for allegedly shooting Megan Thee Stallion, born Megan Pete, 27, in the feet back in July of 2020.
The two musicians have clashed several times via social media since official charges were drawn against Lanez. The “Say It” singer eventually found himself on probation for violating the Houston natives restraining order against him. Tory previously took to Twitter addressing Megan and the case as he tried to clear his name.

Lanez then found himself on house arrest for punching fellow singer August Alsina back in September. The Canadian artist recently had his ankle monitor removed, however, on the judge’s order. Reportedly, the judge claimed he allowed the monitor to be removed “mainly for the trial preparation aspect.”
According to reports, opening statements for the trial are set for December 12th.
