Update: (Dec.13, 2022):  The cause of Ronnie Turner’s death — son of Tina and Ike Turner — has been revealed.

According to the L.A. County Coroner’s Office, Ronnie Turner passed away after a battle with colon cancer. Reportedly, the autopsy results state that the 62-year-old actor died due to “complications of metastatic colon carcinoma.” The coroner notes the cancer was stage 4. The report adds Ronnie only struggled with cancer 3 weeks before his death and he also battled atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease — which is a buildup of fats and cholesterol in the arteries.

Sad news!

Ronnie Turner, the son of Tina and Ike Turner, has passed away at the age of 62.

According to reports, law enforcement received a 911 call Thursday morning (Dec. 8) from a person who claimed Ronnie Turner was outside their home and was having a hard time breathing. Allegedly, after a few minutes passed, he wasn’t breathing at all.

Paramedics quickly arrived at the Los Angeles address as bystanders were reportedly attempting CPR. Unfortunately, their efforts didn’t help Ronnie Turner recover and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

At this moment it’s unclear what led to Ronnie’s medical emergency. However, he reportedly battled health issues for years, including cancer.

In 2018 Tina Turner’s oldest son, Craig, died by suicide. The “Proud Mary” singer gave birth to Craig before she met Ike, but he adopted Craig once they married.

Just like his famous parents, Ronnie also had a love for the spotlight. The actor appeared in the 1993 biopic “What’s Love Got To Do With It,” which told the story of Tina’s life.

We send our condolences to the Turner family during this difficult time.
