T.I. Sued For Allegedly Causing $77K Worth Of Damage To Los Angeles Rental Property: Physical damage including but not limited to projector, pool house floor, kitchen pantry door, drywall, and ceiling

T.I. (real name Clifford Harris) is on the hook for more than $70K.

The rapper and comedian is being sued for $77,000 by a landlord named Farzin Fazeli, according to RadarOnline. He is on the line for breach of contract after allegedly causing damage to a six bedroom, six bathroom Los Angeles rental property.

The property listing reads,

“A full 1/2 acre of flat land completed walled and gated for the utmost privacy. Serene setting and magnificent estate evokes feelings of old Hollywood grandeur.”

Fazeli said the musician entered into the agreement for the Encino, California home on July 11, 2020. He sent T.I. a 60-day notice to depart on June 13, 2022, but the rapper had paid through August 31, 2022, “so remained up to that time.”

T.I. reportedly moved out of the home on August 31, having paid a $50,000 deposit for damages as stated in the lease.

The landlord claimed to have delivered T.I. a thorough accounting of the $127,182.65 in damages on September 17. The lawsuit asserts that the total amount still owed minus the depositĀ is $77,182.65.

According to the lawsuit,

“The damages arise from a significant number of alterations done to the property that were done either without knowledge or some limited knowledge, but all with the agreement that the house would be placed back to how it was when it was originally leased.”

It adds,

“It also includes physical damage, including but not limited to projector, pool house floor, kitchen pantry door, drywall, and ceiling damage. Additionally, a painting owned by [Fazeli] was taken by [Harris].”

T.I. has allegedly refused to pay the bill despite requests to do so, and the cost has increased as more repairs and damages have been made, as would be shown at trial, Fazeli claims in the lawsuit.

Fazeli wants T.I. to pay the $77,000 for repairs plus his own legal bills associated with the case.
