LaNisha Cole Implies She’s ‘Leaving Toxic Relationships’ Days After Shading Nick Cannon For Being A Social Media Father

LaNisha Cole is seemingly letting go of Nick Cannon — co-parenting aside, of course.

The mother of Nick Cannon‘s ninth child is speaking candidly about “leaving toxic relationships,” days after it appeared that she had shaded him online. In a post shared to her Instagram Story on Wednesday (Dec. 21), LaNisha Cole said,

“I’ll talk about my journey one day too but until then I want to hear more from you guys. Men and women. Tell me your stories of overcoming obstacles and leaving toxic relationships. I’d love to share your story. I’ll share it anonymously or with your information if you choose. DM me with your stories. Let’s have a this very important conversation/discussion.”

Two days prior, LaNisha Cole appeared to criticize the Masked Singer host for sharing photographs of his other kids on social media. The pair welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Onyx, in September. The birth came two months after Nick Cannon and Bre Tiesi’s son was born.

In a post shared on Sunday (Dec. 18), Cole said,

“[Onyx] is incredibly blessed and is surrounded by so much love – and it’s not fake IG photo op love.”

She added,

“I wouldn’t change a single thing about my journey because I’m in a beautiful place now and everything has to happen the way it did for me to get here. Yes I’ve made mistakes. Yes I’ve put myself through unnecessary pain and heartbreak (which we’ve all done in the name of love. You have too!) But … calling me baby mama #538 every time I say the sky is blue is uncalled for and it’s getting old.”

Asking followers to stop tagging her in Cannon’s family photos, Cole reportedly wrote:

“It’s important for me to keep things positive and maintain my peace in the midst of it all. It’s not easy but I have to do it for my daughter, [Onyx]…She is incredibly blessed and is surrounded by so much love – and it’s not fake IG photo op love – it’s real day in and day out love.”

She added,

“There’s no need to mention me or send anything to my dms. It has nothing to do with me… and no need to be messy. It’s all love over this way.”
