2Pac — Sports Writer Jeff Pearlman Reveals His Next Book Will Be A Biography Of The ‘Great’ Late Rapper
Jeff Pearlman has a 2Pac, full name Tupac Shakur, biography in the works!
The New York Times best-selling author, who frequently writes about sports, made the announcement via Twitter on Wednesday (Jan. 4). Jeff Pearlman admitted that he was a bit hesitant about sharing the news, but he pushed forward and decided to do so.
Along with a picture of the late rapper, he said,
“I stopped keeping book topic secrets a while ago, got a bit nervous about sharing this one. Then thought, ‘Hey, life’s a communal journey.’ My next book is a biography of the great Tupac Shakur. Dream topic. If anyone has any stories, knows people, etc—hit me up. DMs always open.”

John Rocker‘s well-known Sports Illustrated interview from 1999 was written by Jeff Pearlman. He has so far published 10 books — nine about sports and one of which is his autobiography.
Pearlman will certainly have to do Tupac Shakur‘s story justice, considering the impact he continues to have on the world more than 20 years after his death. The prolific rapper was shot four times in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas in September 1996. He passed away six days later at the age of 25.
