Kanye West’s ex-business manager, Thomas St. John is wasting no time and has quickly gone back to court to ask a judge for an extension in serving the rapper with a $4.5 million lawsuit.
According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline, St. John was in court this week asking for three more months to try and serve the musician.
Reportedly, Kanye West hired Thomas St. John last year to act as his senior financial advisor and agreed to pay him a monthly fee of $300k. However, St. John said he was only paid for 3 months out of his 18-month contract. Due to West’s defiance, St. John decided to sue the Yeezy founder for a whopping total of $4.5 million in unpaid wages.

Unfortunately, when it came time for West to be served, he was nowhere to be found, and the home and business addresses that were once verifiable for him were no longer valid.
As previously reported, In December reports surfaced that the 45-year-old musician was set to be put out of his L.A. offices. At the time, reports claimed West owed renters more than $63,000 in back rent. Now, it seems all of the offices West once rented out for his business practices are allegedly no longer verifiable addresses for him.
Thomas St. John’s filing read:
“After a diligent attempt, the process server was unable to execute service on the agent for service of process for Yeezy, who appeared to no longer be occupying the office address listed on the 2022 California state filing.”
In his filing, St. John admits he cannot figure out where Kanye West is currently living. The legal document states:
“For Mr. West, despite our diligent efforts, we were unable to ascertain his current residential address, and therefore, have not yet made attempts to serve him personally. Instead, we have attempted to service him by mail at multiple possible addresses.”

The motion reads,
“Because of Mr. West’s celebrity status and his own interests in protecting his privacy and information about where he resides, additional time and resources are needed to ascertain his whereabout for personal service, and additional time and resources are needed to attempt other forms of service.”
Reportedly, St. John has asked the court to allow him until March to complete service.
According to reports, earlier this week West was spotted in Beverly Hills on a lunch date with a mystery blonde woman. West appeared to be all smiles Sunday afternoon (Jan.8) as he drove around his Maybach in Bev Hills with an unnamed woman riding shotgun.
