T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach have been let go by ABC.
According to sources close to the network, after a mediation session on Thursday (Jan.26), ABC and the two ‘GMA 3’ anchors parted ways with both receiving payouts per their contracts.
Sources told TMZ the mediation was “extremely contentious,” with ABC reps accusing both Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes of various forms of misconduct throughout there time with the network.
According to reports, one of the accusations is that Amy had liquor in her dressing room, which the ABC reps said was a violation of policy. However, one source called the accusation “ridiculous,” noting some of the the liquor was allegedly sent from top ABC News execs. The source said those execs sent other on-air talent alcohol as well.

As previously reported, T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach were temporarily suspended from the news program, “GMA 3” following their affair going public. ABC originally stated that as two consenting adults, neither of their employees technically violated any company policies. Still, the affair caused a wave of negative attention as both parties were still married to their spouses at the time they went public.
After news of their affair made headlines, the network claimed a thorough investigation needed to be done to conclude if any workplace violations were committed. Shortly after, news broke that T.J. Holmes had previous relationships with several other ABC employees, some being interns.
No word yet on what both anchors will do career wise moving forward.
