Amber Rose Says Previous Relationship w/ Kanye West Is More ‘Relevant’ In Pop Culture Than Her Personal Life + Admits To Having A Greater Love For Ex-Husband Wiz Khalifa

Amber Rose has a favorite ex and it’s safe to say it isn’t Kanye West.

During a recent podcast interview, Amber Rose was candid about her previous romances with rappers Kanye West and ex-husband Wiz Khalifa. After being asked “who did you love more,” Amber Rose replied:

“Wiz girl. That’s not even a question.”

The 39-year-old explained:

“Like, I think that people like to ask about my relationship with Kanye but it was 13 years ago guys.”

She elaborated:

“I mean, I obviously have to bring him up cause he’s a huge part of my story and how I got here. But yeah, no, I mean I feel like people are obsessed with that because it was like, a great time in pop culture but in my personal life it is not relevant.”

Although Rose was in love in her past, she’s currently enjoying her life as a single woman. As previously reported, during the same interview, the public figure shared that she is no longer looking for a significant other nor is she interested in having sex with anyone. Rose shared:

“I want to be single for the rest of my life.”

She continued:

“I don’t want to share my house or my life with anyone. I don’t want anyone around my kids. I don’t want to have sex … No, ew.”

She reportedly added:

“I’m fine with being by myself too. I’m very happy to not share my bed with anyone.”

Rose was on her road to stardom when she dated producer/fashion designer Kanye West for two years. They officially called it quits in 2010. She went on to marry Wiz Khalifa in 2013 and filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences, a year later. The Philadelphia native expressed during her podcast interview:

“My ex-husband cheated on me. We were married, we were young.”

She ultimately forgave her ex and admitted that she and Wiz, 35, are “the best of friends” as they co-parent their 9-year-old son Sebastian. In a previous interview, Rose revealed that she “cried every day for three years” while she dated other people after their divorce. She said:

“I married my soulmate and then all of a sudden he wasn’t there anymore. Because our mothers, the internet, there was too much pressure to be married so young and we just had a baby. I was f*ck*ng heartbroken.”

In 2017, Rose dated 21 Savage but broke things off with the rapper because she was “still heartbroken” from her previous marriage. The television personality then dated Alexander “AE” Edwards, who is now dating singer Cher, 76, from 2018 to 2021. They split after she accused the music executive of cheating on her with multiple women, which he later admitted to. The ex-couple share a 2-year-old son.
