Paris Hilton To Host Virtual Dating Reality Show ‘Parisland’
Paris Hilton is set to host a new unique dating show!
The reality star’s 11:11 Media company has teamed with the gaming virtual world The Sandbox to create Parisland.
The show is described as a,
“romantic adventure set on a tropical island.”
Parisland will see players participate in an in-game dating reality show hosted by Paris Hilton via The Sandbox’s metaverse platform. The show will launch on The Sandbox on February 13 and will run for a month.
According to reports, participants will be provided with five potential romantic partners. They will participate in tasks such as choosing wedding rings and outfits, finding out the secrets of the island, rescuing a castaway, and flirting with other contestants before making their final decision for a partner.
Sebastien Borget, COO and Co-Founder of The Sandbox had this to say about Parisland:
“I can’t think of a better way to light up the winter months than a romantic Valentine’s Day getaway to Paris Hilton’s tropical island in the metaverse. Parisland offers a dazzling escape to sunny beaches, lighthearted romance, and genuine emotion as you discover and woo your romantic partner and celebrate with a destination wedding.”
Parisland comes through Paris Hilton’s pop culture-focused 11:11 Media company, which the socialite co-founded in 2021.
Cynthia Miller, who leads Web3 and metaverse strategy at 11:11 Media shared her excitement about the new dating show.
“We’re thrilled to celebrate another holiday in the metaverse, this time in The Sandbox with a mission to help people find love. This marks yet another defining moment for Paris and 11:11 Media, as we continue to develop innovative, interactive experiences for next-gen audiences to connect with brands, celebrities and each other.”
This news comes one month after Hilton’s Netflix cooking show Cooking with Paris was canceled.
