Damson Idris and Lori Harvey are seemingly a quiet couple, and they want to keep it that way.

The sixth season of Snowfall recently had its premiere, and the show’s star Damson Idris — who plays Franklin Saint — shared during a red carpet interview how his love connection with Lori Harvey has catapulted him into a new pop culture spotlight. The British actor also spoke about navigating the high-profile relationship.

Damson Idris said,

“You stay at home and hide in the cave. I think my advice to anyone who walks down that path is to just keep it as regular and normal as possible and really, really connect to each other and not the outside forces around.”

The actor noted that he looks to people he respects and learns from them about how they handle their privacy.

He added,

“Just understanding that you don’t always have to show the world your personal life and that what you do for a living is an extension of yourself, and that’s your baby. And you need to protect that. You also need to protect your personal self too. And, of course, it’s the topic of gossip, and the blogs want to talk about that over the work. I see that a lot. But they’ll get over it soon enough. And in a couple days, someone else will be dating, and then they’ll leave me alone.”

Idris confirmed he was dating Lori Harvey in January, just ahead of the socialite’s birthday. The confirmation came just a month after the pair was spotted on a secret date in Hollywood.

Lori Harvey, the daughter of Steve Harvey and his wife, Marjorie, has been linked to a few high-profile celebrity men over the years including Future, Trey Songz, and Michael B. Jordan. As previously reported, Michael B. Jordan and Harvey called it quits last June after dating for a year and a half — though it remains unknown exactly why the couple decided to go their separate ways.
