Pink Slams Media After Being Asked About Old Feud w/Christina Aguilera: Art Can Never Be The Focus w/ Women
Famed singer Pink has had enough of the media.
The singer/songwriter had an impassioned response after recent comments she made about an old feud with Christina Aguilera made headlines.

Pink, born Alecia Beth Moore Hart, posted a lengthy message to her Instagram addressing the increasingly viral interview. She wrote:
“I’m so saddened and disappointed by the narrative surrounding some of the press I’ve been doing around my album Trustfall.
While some of the responsibility lays with me and my inability to lie, and my uncanny ability to overshare- my real disappointment lies in the fact that the art can never be the focus when you’re a woman.”

She continued:
“The fact that I created one of the most beautiful albums with the most beautiful people -sang my a** off, made
Myself wholly
Vulnerable…[and] the only
Thing they ask you about over and over is a silly
fued from your
Twenties.”
All the commotion began after the 3-time Grammy Award winner was asked during a recent promo interview about the decades-old fight she almost had with fellow singer Christina Aguilera. If you didn’t know, Pink is currently on a press tour for her latest album “Trustfall,” which reportedly debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top Sales Chart.

During the chat, The interviewer asked about Christina Aguilera wanting to fight Pink on the set of their 2001 collab “Lady Marmalade,” to which Pink stated:
“She was upset that I was sitting in her chair and so was going to shut down the entire production and I didn’t know I was sitting in her chair. And also I was homeless at 15 and so you can’t talk to me any kind of way…you picked the wrong one….But that’s over.”
All in all, the “Just Give me A Reason” artist said she does take some responsibility but ultimately blames the media for rehashing the drama. Pink alleged that men in the entertainment industry aren’t asked trivial things like women, continuing her IG post, she said:
“I take responsibility also- I’m out of
Practice
Dodging the bullsh*t that gets thrown at us hardworking women. I’m notorious
For saying too much. But I’ve never lied…I wonder when the last time Bradley Cooper or Robert Deniro were asked in interview after interview about any argument they’d ever had. How about Christian Bale? We stick to the art with them,
Don’t we? I’d like to have the same opportunity.”
She also even addressed her former song mate, adding:
“To Christina- you know where we stand. Resolved. Onwards and upwards.”
