Amy Robach & T.J. Holmes Pitching ‘Up Close & Personal’ Daytime Talk Show To Major Networks After Being Fired By ABC For Affair
When it comes to their careers, T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach aren’t throwing in the towel just yet.
According to reports, the former co-hosts turned lovers are pitching a brand new show highlighting their chemistry after being fired from ABC.
Reportedly, they have been in Los Angeles pitching to the major networks, including CBS, NBC, and CNN, however, RadarOnline was told they might go with Newsnation.
The couple’s alleged pitch is an “up close and personal” daytime show to rival Kelly Ripa and her husband, Mark Consuelos when he replaces Ryan Seacrest on Live!
A TV executive told sources,
“Think about it. You have a show with two attractive hosts that does pretty well and then boom – the sexy romantic drama of the decade unfolds with your two stars.”
They added,
“Who wouldn’t want to watch them interact every day – see those sparks fly?”

T.J. Holmes, Amy Robach
Last month, an insider told sources that Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes weren’t done with television and,
“remain confident another network or cable channel will see the value in their undeniable chemistry.”
Sources teased that
“some of the best television double acts have been lovers!”
As previously reported, T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach were temporarily suspended from the news program, “GMA 3” following their affair going public. Holmes and Amy Robach began anchoring “GMA3” together almost three years ago and allegedly started their affair in the summer of 2022. However, both anchors have reportedly claimed they were separated from their spouses before they started dating.
Ultimately, after a months-long investigation, ABC decided to part ways with the news anchors.
A company spokesperson said in a statement,
“After several productive conversations with Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes about different options, we all agreed it’s best for everyone that they move on from ABC News. We recognize their talent and commitment over the years and are thankful for their contributions.”
