GloRilla Scores Major Deal w/ Tommy Hilfiger: ‘I Feel Highly Favored Because It Could Have Been Anyone Else But Me’

 

Rising hip-hop artist GloRilla has officially landed a collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger’s Tommy Jeans!

Throughout the history of pop culture, many of your favs have been seen sporting timeless looks from the popular apparel clothing company Tommy Hilfiger. Arguably, the most notable celebs to rock the brand was Britney Spears and the late Aaliyah.

Looks like GloRilla is throwing her hat into the ring of entertainers known for their Tommy Hilfiger style.  According to reports, Memphis rapper GloRilla (born Gloria Hallelujah Woods), 23, is now the face of Tommy Jeans’ newest collaboration with luxury streetwear brand Aries.

As she steps into her new role as the face of Tommy x Aries, the “Tomorrow 2” rapper shared,

“I’m a big Aaliyah fan, and I love what she did with them. I’m part of keeping a legacy going.”

The collection will reportedly consist of many items, including the brand’s famed oversized t-shirts and baggy two-tone jeans. In addition, pops of neon green are scattered throughout the collection, providing a youthful disruption to the line.

GloRilla reflected back on the process and said,

“I feel highly favored, because it could have been anyone else but me. I gotta make sure I keep it going. Memphis is getting the notoriety it deserves.”

The rapper added,

“It’s refreshing to me, because I love the old-school and being able to bring it to my generation.”

As far as music goes, GloRilla recently scored another big win as she tied for Best New Hip-Hop Artist at the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards Monday night (Mar. 27). Recent reports state that rapper Latto, 24, and GloRilla jointly won Best New Hip-Hop Artist.

Glo rose to fame after releasing her 2022 song “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” with Hitkidd. Since then, she’s worked with rap star Cardi B for her single “Tomorrow 2,” which has reached the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100.
