According to RadarOnline, Soulja Boy is set to take the stand in court amid his ex-girlfriend, Kayla Meyers, civil suit against the rapper, accusing him of physically assaulting her in a Malibu house party almost three years ago. During the trial, Kayla Meyers, who originally filed the suit in 2020, will reportedly have her psychotherapist and her father take the stand as her witnesses. The “Kiss Me Through The Phone” artist will have his bodyguard and assistant testify against his ex-girlfriend.

The pair reportedly had an on and off relationship prior to the alleged incident. Kayla Meyers claimed she attempted to leave the event but her car was hindering her from doing so. Her car troubles reportedly led to her fighting Soulja’s female assistant. Meyers accused the assistant of knocking her to the ground before the rapper followed up with kicks to her stomach moments later. She also accused Big Draco of whipping her in the head with a firearm. In the suit, Meyers wrote that the rapper told her she was going to die and had his male assistant tie her up with extension cords to hold her hostage for six hours in his garage. Reportedly, the victim felt forced to perform sexual acts on the male assistant so she could be released. When she was untied she ran home, and her lawyers claimed the incident resulted in their client three fractured ribs and bruised face.

Upon police’s arrival to raid the record producers home, they discovered guns which violated the rapper’s probation leading him to spend 240 behind bars. Futher denying all allegations, Soulja reportedly shared:

“Negligent acts of [Kayla] and/or one or more third parties, other than this answering Defendant, was responsible for and proximately contributed to the damages alleged to have been sustained by [Kayla].”
