Jamie Foxx – Production For Actor’s Latest Project Continues w/o Him As He Recovers From ‘Medical Complication,’ His Remaining Scenes May Be Cut From Film
The production team for the upcoming Netflix film “Back In Action” had to get a little creative as they deal with their star being away due to a medical emergency.
As previously reported, Jamie Foxx’s daughter, Corinne Foxx, recently revealed that her dad is recovering after he “experienced a medical complication.” In part, she let fans know:
“…he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time. “

It seems that Jamie Foxx’s unexpected health scare won’t affect the completion date for his latest project. According to reports, the “Collateral” actor had eight filming days left for the Netflix movie and was set to shoot a scene this past Tuesday (Apr. 11) but couldn’t due to his medical emergency.
Despite Jamie Foxx being away, production is reportedly still aiming to wrap up filming by sometime next week. In order to hit this goal, it’s speculated the remaining scenes will have to be rewritten to exclude Foxx, completely removed from the film, or filmed using a stand-in.
As of now, it’s unclear how production will actually move forward with filming or when Foxx will be able to return to his normal day-to-day life.
