Netflix Considering Replacing ‘Love Is Blind’ Hosts Nick & Vanessa Lachey w/ Season 1 Couple Lauren Speed & Cameron Hamilton: ‘There’s Got To Be A Change’
Popular reality series “Love Is Blind” may be getting a cast shakeup soon.
Fans started a petition to boot hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey from the series and it seems like Netflix is listening to what the people want. Recent reports claim the network is scouting season 1 couple Lauren Speed and Cameron Hamilton to take over the hosting duties.

According to an insider:
“There’s always been whispers about replacing them, especially now after the live reunion special, which was a complete disaster on so many levels.”
The reunion special for season 4 of the reality series was initially scheduled to air live on the streaming platform. However, due to technical difficulties, Netflix had to scrap its plans for a live reunion.
Eventually, viewers were able to watch the recorded reunion and it didn’t take long for fans to call out Vanessa Lachey for her “cringe” and “obsessive” baby discussion, centered around asking the cast when she should expect a “Love Is Blind” baby.
Some viewers also criticized her seemingly biased questioning when speaking to certain cast members over others. Nick and Vanessa Lachey have hosted the series since its 2020 premiere.
The source continued,
“If they want to keep their ratings up, there’s got to be a change.”
Social media users are definitely calling for change from Netflix and the petition seeking new hosts has garnered over 41,000 signatures. The petitioner wrote:
“Love is Blind is a reality based TV show that allows couples to date and choose their partner without ever seeing them. The show has had a ton of success but has one large problem – the hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey.”
And continued:
“From the initial season, the hosts felt pretty useless and out of place. They seem to be much more concerned with directing as much attention at themselves and their personal lives rather than focusing on the contestants that are actually participating in the experiment. Many enjoy the show but it’s being held back from its full potential with cringy Nick and Vanessa Lachey.”

Many viewers suggested fan favorites Lauren Speed & Cameron Hamilton, who have been married since falling for each other during season 1, be hired to replace Nick and Vanessa Lachey. Speaking about the potential of the Hamiltons taking over as the “LIB” hosts, the source continued:
“Viewers feel a connection with Lauren and Cameron because they are the real deal,”

They added:
“They are down-to-earth, kind people who can actually help the contestants because they have walked in their shoes. People want to relate to the hosts — and at this point they can’t relate to Vanessa or Nick.”
There has been no official statement from Netflix on the matter at this time.
