Jamie Foxx Reportedly Had To Be Revived During Terrifying Medical Crisis, Insider Shares ‘He Is Very Lucky To Be Alive!’
It looks like Jamie Foxx’s medical crisis may have been more severe than his team initially let on.
According to RadarOnline, the 55-year-old actor had to be revived by doctors.
A source said,
“Jamie suffered a serious medical episode and needed immediate attention. It was touch and go for days with him, and he had to be revived — he is very lucky to be alive!”
Reportedly, the emergency room physicians saved the actor’s life. An insider said,
“He’s very lucky he got the treatment he did.”
Jamie Foxx’s medical scare was made public by his daughter. On April 12, Corrine Foxx, 29, took to Instagram and broke the devastating news that her famous dad “experienced a medical complication.” Corinne didn’t provide in-depth details about what happened to the “Day Shift” actor but she did let fans know that he was already “on his way to recovery.”
Corinne Foxx wrote:
“From the Foxx Family: We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.”
She added:
“We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.
Much love,
The Foxx Family.”
However, insiders claim the alarming incident – which has left Foxx hospitalized for more than a week – was a very scary situation.
An insider said,
“Jamie suffers from high blood pressure, which doctors say can cause clots in the brain leading to a stroke. Doctors believe this was a long time coming, and really, if they hadn’t acted fast, Jamie might well have been a goner.”
Last week, sources close to Foxx gave an update on his status and shared that he’s “doing a lot better.” They also said that he is “communicating now, and that’s good news.”
