Chris Rock Sparks Dating Rumors After Being Seen Having Drinks w/British Journalist Sharon Carpenter: ‘They Seemed Into Each Other’

Comedian Chris Rock may have a new romance budding.

According to reports, the famous and single entertainer was seen out with a British news reporter recently in a manner that suggests they could be more than friends.

Reportedly, a witness saw Chris Rock, 58, and Sharon Lee Carpenter, 41, having drinks together at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, Calif. The witness reportedly detailed the moment, stating:

“They seemed into each other…Sharon was laughing nonstop.”

Additionally, the source says that the comedic star was in good spirits and was joking with other diners at surrounding tables. Even “The Batman” star Robert Pattinson reportedly stopped in on the fun. While Rock tends to be mostly quiet about his dating life these days, he reportedly opened up about being single during his Netflix special “Selective Outrage” last month, stating:

“I’m single. I’ve been single for a long time…I was married for a long time. I was dating somebody for a while. Now I’m single.”

Rock was previously married to wife Malaak Compton-Rock who he wed back in 1996. The former couple shared 20 years together before splitting in 2016. More recently, the “Grown Ups” star was seemingly courting actress Lake Bell. The pair were reportedly spotted on a yacht together and holding hands on different occasions throughout 2022. However, the couple’s public appearances slowly became non existent, leading to Rock confirming the split during the March comedy special.

Neither Chris Rock nor Sharon Carpenter have spoken on the rumors at this time.
