Unfortunate news for “Red Table Talk” fans.
As previously reported, the often-viral online talk show – hosted by Jada Pinkett Smith, daughter Willow Smith, and mother Adrienne Bandfield-Norris – was canceled on Wednesday (Apr. 26) after Meta’s decision to shut down all Facebook Watch original programs.

Reportedly, “Red Table Talk” was the last show to be taken off the social media platform. This news comes after Mina Lefevre, Head of Development and Programming at Meta, left the company alongside 20,000 employees, which was the latest round of terminations.
Facebook is now determined to share more user-generated content. The platform began removing un-scripted content in 2020. Since then, “Sorry For Your Loss,” starring Elizabeth Olsen,“Limetown”, starring Jessica Biel, and Steve Harvey’s “Steve on Watch” have been canceled.

The five season daytime Emmy award winning program addressed social and cultural issues with an intergenerational point of view. The last episode of the show – produced by Jada, 51, and Will Smith’s production company, Westbrook Studios – premiered in December 2022.
The show, which debuted on May 7, 2018, is known for their memorable episodes including Jada Pinkett Smith’s sit down with her husband Will Smith, 54. As previously reported, the famed couple made headlines after they discussed Jada’s romantic “entanglement” with singer August Alsina.
