Jonathan Majors Believes A Forensic Medical Expert’s Opinion Will Prove His Accuser Is Lying
Jonathan Majors is feeling confident days ahead of his court hearing.
According to reports, Jonathan Majors believes a judge will agree that he’s innocent during his next court hearing — scheduled for May 9 — thanks to the opinion of a forensic medical expert.
As previously reported, Jonathan Majors, 33, was arrested in March after his then-girlfriend accused him of assault. She was reportedly hospitalized with “minor injuries to her head and neck.” Recently, the 30-year-old woman was granted a temporary order of protection.
The “Lovecraft Country” actor’s arrest has seemingly put his career in jeopardy, causing his talent manager and his publicist to terminate their work relationships with him. In addition, Majors will no longer be attending the Met Gala today (May 1) on behalf of Valentino. Reportedly, Majors and the designer brand “mutually agreed” that he shouldn’t make an appearance at the famed event due to his current legal troubles.

Majors’ attorney has denied all allegations made against the actor. His lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, issued a statement after the restraining order was granted.
“This is standard in cases such as this, and we consented because Mr. Majors wants nothing to do with the woman who assaulted him.”
Alleging that the “Creed III” star was the true victim, she continued:
“We have been transparent and cooperative with the District Attorney, including giving the District Attorney ample evidence, including witness statements, of Mr. Majors’ innocence.”
Priya Chaudhry also noted that the opinion of a forensic medical expert will help prove that Majors is not guilty.
“In fact, the forensic medical expert’s opinion shows that the woman is lying. It is disturbing that even when presented with this incontrovertible evidence, the District Attorney continues this false case.”
