Kevin Hart Gives Update On Jamie Foxx, Says They’re Keeping Details Tight Because Actor Has “Always been a private person.”
Kevin Hart has some seemingly good news as it relates to Jamie Foxx‘s health!
During an appearance on the “Impaulsive” podcast, the comedian shared that his friend is “getting better” and there has been “a lot of progression” three weeks into his hospitalization. However, he does not have exact details on Jamie Foxx‘s condition.
Kevin Hart said,
“They’re being tight … about where he is because Jamie’s always been a private person to a certain degree.”
He continued,
“Everybody’s prayers, everybody’s love, energy — all that stuff is seen and felt.”
Corrine Foxx shared news of her father’s “medical complication“ in April, noting that he had been hospitalized in Georgia. At the time, she said,
“From the Foxx Family: We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.”
As of now, he remains in the hospital and has taken a step back from several projects. On Wednesday, theJasmineBRAND exclusively reported that a top-ranked neurologist was flying into Atlanta to assess Jamie Foxx and assist his recovery journey.
Foxx‘s hospitalization came as he only had a few days left of filming for his upcoming Netflix film “Back In Action,” which also features Cameron Diaz. Due to his hiatus from Hollywood, production tapped a body double to come in and film his remaining scenes.
The actor and his daughter are also taking a step back from Beat Shazam, with Nick Cannon and Kelly Osbourne filling in as host for the time being.
While things appear to be moving in a good direction, Hart noted,
“In [Jamie Foxx’s] case, man, you just want the guy to get out of the situations and then get back home.”
theJasmineBRAND continues to send our prayers to Jamie Foxx as he continues to recover!
