Chris Brown Responds After Alleged Fight w/ Usher & Heated Altercation At Lovers & Friends Festival: ‘Y’all Can Keep Ya Narrative’
Things definitely haven’t been “breezy” for Chris Brown this weekend!
Following his reported dispute with fellow singer Usher, Chris Brown was said to have been involved in a steamy exchange with someone else at the recent Lovers & Friends Festival.

However, he has since issued a statement, dismissing the many accusations that have surrounded the alleged occurrence.
In the now-deleted response, which was written in the comment section of The Shade Room’s Instagram post about the matter, Chris Brown said,
“Y’all been geeked all weekend, y’all dragging it now. It was mad people backstage and security was trying to clear everyone off the stage. People started pushing back.. I INTERVENED to let them know MY CHILD WAS BACK THERE. So y’all can keep ya narrative.”

The “No Guidance” megastar’s addressal came subsequent to viral footage that showed Brown growing irate at the event. His remark (seemingly) referenced the alleged scuffle that he and Usher got into on a few nights ago as well.
If you hadn’t heard, Usher threw Brown a 34th birthday bash at Skate Rock City in Las Vegas on Friday (May 5). While the star-studded occasion appeared to have kicked off with positive vibes, Hollywood Unlocked exclusively informed that it all ended on a negative note.
Allegedly, Brown left the “Confessions” icon with a bloody nose after he attempted to diffuse an argument between the “Breezy” phenomenon and songstress Teyana Taylor.

While details regarding the incident remained scarce (at first), it was later claimed that Brown and Teyana Taylor had unresolved beef stemming from his canceled performance at 2022’s American Music Awards.
According to reports, Teyana Taylor was supposedly going to be a part of the Virginia native’s axed Michael Jackson tribute but pulled out at the last minute, which (ultimately) may have resulted in the act getting its controversial boot that made national headlines last year.

As of now, neither party has spoken publicly nor directly about the suspected beatdown or what led up to it, but Usher and Brown still continued on with their separate sets at the Lovers & Friends Festival, where Usher was seen with no facial bruises, whatsoever.

The 44-year-old even performed him and Brown’s 2017 collaboration “Party,” and Taylor was also captured rocking out to it in the audience.

What really took place at Brown’s birthday celebration remains in the air, but most believe that it could’ve been a publicity ploy to build anticipation around a possible Verzuz battle between Usher and Brown that could be in the making.
