Lionel Richie Slams Plastic Surgery Rumors, Says Sex Is What Keeps Him Looking Young
Does Lionel Richie know the secret to looking young forever?
During a recent interview, the 73-year-old singer filled the world in on how he’s maintained his good looks over the years. According to Lionel Richie, the key to looking younger than you actually are has nothing to do with plastic surgery. While shutting down rumors that he’s gone under the knife, the Alabama native said:
“That sh*t goes wrong”

He continued:
“Plastic surgery locks you in for that year while you recover and after that, you can’t go naturally, you’re staying right there… You try and go back to reset and you can’t.”
The former Motown singer then said that “water, sleep, and sweat,” are the three factors that will keep you from aging poorly. He continued:
“I know it’s real boring. Sex will work also and it’s good for your heart.”
He added that avoiding “too much red meat” in his diet has also helped him stay youthful.

Reportedly, rumors that Lionel Richie has had work done escalated after his performance at King Charles III’s coronation on May 6. Some claimed that the musician ruined his face due to a plastic surgery procedure.
Despite how naysayers may feel, it looks like Lionel’s good looks are simply a gift from above!
