Kim Zolciak’s Daughters Brielle & Ariana Have ‘No Drama’ w/ Stepdad Kroy Biermann Amid Parents’ Divorce: ‘They Want A Relationship’

Divorce won’t be getting in the way of Kroy Biermann’s relationship with his stepdaughters.

According to reports, reality TV star Kim Zolciak-Biermann’s eldest daughters Brielle and Ariana currently intend to keep their stepdad in their lives, no matter their parents’ situation.

As we reported earlier this week, former “RHOA” star Kim Zolciak-Biermann, 44, filed to divorce her husband, former Atlanta Falcons athlete Kroy Biermann, 37, after 11 years of marriage. The ex NFL’er wedded the TV personality back in 2011 and legally adopted her two children Brielle, 26, and Ariana, 21, in 2013.

Reportedly, the young socialites have a close bond with Kroy Biermann and want to continue having a relationship with him. A source reportedly told outlets:

“All the kids are still in contact with Kroy…There is no drama between Brielle, Ariana and Kroy yet,”

Adding:

“They want to have a relationship with him and Kim supports that.”

Zolciak and Biermann also share four other children together, twins Kaia Rose and Kane Ren, 9, and sons Kash Kade, 10, and Kroy Jagger, 11. Reportedly, the “Tardy For The Party” singer is requesting primary physical custody and joint legal custody. Kroy is reportedly seeking sole legal and physical custody. The source reportedly added that Kim “[is] not cutting the kids off from Kroy…She wants him to be involved as their dad.”

Upon news of the split, another source disclosed that money problems overwhelmed the Bravo couple. In the court filing, Zolciak reportedly cited the marriage as being “irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation.”

The estranged partners’ ongoing financial woes seem to have put an irreparable strain on the relationship. Their money troubles in the past couple of years have included nearly losing their Georgia home, a million-dollar tax debt lien, and being sued for hundreds of thousands in credit card debt. 

No one in the family has spoken publicly about the divorce at this time. However, the source claimed that Zolciak had been planning to leave her husband for a “long time.” Explaining how Kim plotted to end her marriage in secret, the source alleged:

“She had not told anyone, not even family. She didn’t tell anyone, even [her] friends were kept in the dark.”
