Kim Zolciak Had Estranged Husband Kroy Biermann Served w/ Divorce Papers Outside Their Georgia Home 

Breaking up is hard to do, especially if you still live with your ex. 

According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline, former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kim Zolciak, 44, had her soon-to-be ex-husband Kroy Biermann, 37, served with divorce papers outside of the Georgia home they’re still sharing. 

As previously reported, news recently broke that after 11 years of marriage, the former love birds decided to call it quits. Kim Zolciak and the retired NFL player share 4 children together – twins Kaia Rose and Kane Ren, 9, and sons Kash Kade, 10, and Kroy Jagger, 11. Kroy Biermann also legally adopted Kim’s older daughters – Brielle, 26, and Ariana, 21, – in 2013.

Both have reportedly asked the court to grant them primary custody of their 4 minor kids. In addition, they both want the other to pay child and spousal support. 

Reportedly, the process server Kim hired said her estranged husband was standing outside their Georgia home when he gave him the divorce papers. According to the server, Kroy asked why he was parked outside his home and he explained that he was there to serve a “Kroy Biermann.”

Kroy allegedly responded, “That’s me. What is it?” After the server explained Kim filed for divorce, Kroy “took the papers” and said “ok bye.” The server added Kroy “did not give me the opportunity to explain anything” and “he was on the phone talking the whole time.” 

It’s still unclear what exactly caused their relationship to come to an end, but both parties have said the marriage is “irretrievably broken.”

Kim recently asked that Kroy be ordered to submit to random drug tests due to his alleged marijuana use. In her motion, Kim reportedly said she has,

“seen [Kroy] smoking marijuana, and she has serious concerns for the safety and well being of the minor children while in [Kroy’s] care. She is fearful that the children will be exposed to [Kroy’s] drug use.”
