Kroy Biermann Requests Kim Zolciak Undergo Psychological Evaluation Amid Divorce, Claims She Has A Gambling Problem That Makes Her ‘Unable To Properly Care For The Children’

All’s fair in love and war…even asking that your ex be ordered to submit to a psych evaluation.

As previously reported, “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum Kim Zolciak, 45, and her soon-to-be-ex Kroy Biermann both filed divorce petitions last month. The former couple married in 2011 and over the course of their relationship, they welcomed 4 kids together. In 2013, Kroy Biermann also legally adopted Kim’s older daughters – Brielle, 26, and Ariana, 21.

Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann, 37, have both asked the court to grant them primary custody of their minor children and for the other to pay child and spousal support. It seems that the retired NFL player is seeking custody of the children because he has concerns about the “Tardy for the Party” singer’s mental state.

According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline, Kroy Biermann has asked that Kim Zolciak be forced to sit for a psychological evaluation.

In the filing, Kroy reportedly claims Kim has “presented very troubling behavior which has accelerated in the months” leading up to his filing for divorce. He adds that Kim has acknowledged,

“spending substantial time and marital funds on gambling and other games of chance. This compulsion has financially devastated the parties. [Kim’s] time is so consumed with online gambling that she is unable to properly care for the children.”

He’s hopeful that a psych exam will help determine if Kim has any underlying mental issues such as depression, anxiety, narcissistic personality disorder, bipolar disorder, ADD, etc.

You may recall that Kim recently threw a jab at her estranged husband as well and requested that he be ordered to submit to random drug tests because of his alleged marijuana use.

In her motion, she claims to have,

“seen [Kroy] smoking marijuana, and she has serious concerns for the safety and well being of the minor children while in [Kroy’s] care. She is fearful that the children will be exposed to [Kroy’s] drug use.”

Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann may be going through a nasty divorce but they’re seemingly trying their best to keep the kids of out the drama. An insider previously shared that,

“All the kids are still in contact with Kroy…There is no drama between Brielle, Ariana and Kroy yet.”
