Kim Kardashian Says Ex-Husband Kanye West’s Antisemitic Controversy Will Be ‘Far More Damaging’ To Their Children Than Her Sex Tape

Reality star Kim Kardashian is opening up about her ex’s very public downward spiral last year.

During the premiere episode of Hulu’s new season of “The Kardashians,” the mom-of-four broke down in tears while speaking about Kanye West’s antisemitic campaign and how she protected their children through it all.

Kim Kardashian, 42, had remained mostly silent while her equally famous ex-husband Kanye West, 45, demolished his billion-dollar fortune.

If you recall, the Grammy Award-winning musician made a lot of enemies and lost lucrative business deals last year after making some inflammatory remarks about the Jewish community.

Kanye West accused the “Jewish media” of censoring him and having an oppressive agenda against him, his family, and the entire Black community. During a previous interview, he said,

“You get used to paparazzi taking a picture of you, and you don’t get money off it. You just get used to being screwed by the Jewish media.”

Additionally, the “Donda” artist attacked the Black Lives Matter movement and offended many when he (incorrectly) insisted that George Floyd died of an overdose and not police brutality, despite what the video of his tragic death depicted.

Simultaneously, West took shots at his ex-wife, her mom Kris Jenner, 67, as well as her then-new relationship with comedian Pete Davidson, 29. Through a series of mean-spirited diss tracks, social media posts, interviews, and rants, West repeatedly addressed Davidson’s past with drug abuse and mental health struggles while vowing the comedian would never be apart of his children’s lives.

On Kim and Kris‘ part, West accused the momager of pushing her kids to do playboy and sex tapes, claiming he was afraid the same would happen to his daughters North, 9, and Chicago, 5. West also bashed Kim for dressing provocatively as a “Christian woman and mother.”

The SKIMS owner shared that she kept quiet during those times as best she could to protect their children, which also includes Saint, 7 and Psalm, 4. Speaking about the never-ending situation, she reportedly stated on the episode:

“Even through all the craziness of everything that Kanye says about us, I never comment, I never post. He has made up the most insane narrative about [Kris] and the [sex] tape. We stay silent through all the lies, all the stuff…I think I can handle anything. I just get really heartbroken for my mom, that she has to deal with so much”

Adding:

“All of his shenanigans…is going to be far more damaging to the kids one day, than my tape will ever be. And I have to sit here and not say anything, ever, because I know one day my kids will appreciate that.”

Kardashian went on to make clear that she will “be his biggest cheerleader to them forever,” and if her kids want to know more when the time comes, she’ll be happy to share. Reportedly, the aspiring lawyer also addressed rumors by West that she cheated on him with Drake during their six-year marriage, stating:

 “So the person that’s supposed to protect me the most publicly would accuse me of having an affair our whole marriage. I really can’t wrap my head around how he thinks he is a protector.”

Reportedly, an emotional Kim added:

“I don’t want to be a part of this narrative, and it’s like, when is this ever going to end?…It’s just always so intense. I don’t want to engage in a public feud with him…I’m stuck with this for the rest of my life.”
