Tom Holland & Zendaya Set To Star In Upcoming ‘Spiderman 4’ Film, Which Will Begin Production After The Writer’s Strike Ends

Great news for “Spiderman” fans!

According to reports, Marvel’s current adaptation of the friendly neighborhood spider, starring actor Tom Holland as Peter Parker, is getting another solo movie which will also see ‘Euphoria’ star Zendaya reprise her role as MJ.

Reportedly, the film’s producer Amy Pascal recently shared on the development of the movie during a recent interview, confirming it’s in the works. She reportedly stated:

“Are we going to make another movie? Of course, we are…We’re in the process, but the writers strike, nobody is working during the strike. We’re all being supporters and whenever they get themselves together, we’ll get started.”

As we previously reported, the writer’s strike is taking its toll on a number of highly anticipated films. Included in the list of movies halted as writer’s and networks/production companies negotiate contract deals, is another of Marvel’s adaptation films “Blade”. The movie is set to star “Moonlight” & “Greenbook” actor Mahershala Ali. Reportedly, the reimagined vampire thriller was supposed to begin filming this month. However, production has been indefinitely stopped until the writer’s strike comes to an end.

Once agreements are reached, however, fans will get to see one of their favorite movie and real life couples back on screen, continuing to make movie magic. As we reported back in 2017, rumors of Tom Holland, 27 and Zendaya, 26, dating began while the pair were working on the first of the newest Spiderman movies. The English actor gushed about his co-star in an interview, sharing how she helped him adjust to his new found fame, sparking speculations. One insider close to the matter reportedly shared at the time:

“They started seeing each other while they were filming Spider-Man…They’ve been super careful to keep it private and out of the public eye but they’ve gone on vacations with each other and try and spend as much time as possible with one another.”

It wasn’t until October 2021, however that the two went public. Posting and adorable picture on the Emmy award winner’s birthday, Holland captioned the post:

“My MJ, have the happiest of birthdays. Gimme a call when your up xxx”

Subsequently, the two were full fledged public showing on red carpets together on subsequent movies and unapologetically gushing about one another. Reportedly, Holland and Zendaya were most recently spotted together at a Lakers versus Warriors game back in May. As far as the next Marvel movie goes, not much has been disclosed regarding storyline and production dates. The last movie, “Spiderman: No Way Home”, left Holland’s portrayal of Peter Parker in a world where no one, including his love interest MJ (played by Zendaya) remembers who he is.
