Keke Palmer Says She Faced ‘Breast Milk Discrimination’ At Airport From TSA Agents Threatening To Throw Out Her Baby’s Food: ‘ Why Is That Not A Crime??’

Entertainer and new mom Keke Palmer is not here for airport protocol.

The 29-year-old actress/singer took to Twitter yesterday (June 12th), with a very valid question, wondering why airport officials threatened to toss her “babies food,” which her body works hard to make.

Keke Palmer & Son

As previously reported, Lauren ‘Keke‘ Palmer welcomed her son Leodis ‘Leo’ Andrellton Jackson back in February of this year alongside boyfriend Darius Jackson. Many were shocked by the initial news of the “Nope” star’s pregnancy. You may recall she made headlines after revealing she was expecting during her debut performance on SNL last year. Keke joked about rumors continuing to swirl around her being pregnant before popping open her blazer and showcasing her very round baby bump, confirming that the whispers had finally come true.

The Nickelodeon alum has since been glowing and gushing about her motherhood journey. It seems recently, however, the musician ran into one aspect of what she considers her “greatest gig yet,” to be relatively irritating. Keke recently took to Twitter to address an inconvenience she experienced while reportedly traveling through Houston airport, writing on the social platform:

“Breast milk discrimination at the Houston airport ruined my mood. I should’ve popped my tit out right then because the discretion and comfort of pumping is thwarted with threats to throw out over 16oz my babies food?!?!!!

Adding:

“Why is that not a crime?? I’M A MOTHER for crying out loud”

According to one report, TSA guidelines state that breast milk “in quantities greater than 3.4 ounces or 100 milliliters are allowed in carry-on baggage,” though anything “in excess” of that must be “screened separately.” Many of the TV and movie stars 2+ million followers seemed to agree with her statement. Some pointed out the annoying regulation is also enforced at other large airports such as Atlanta and Austin. Others simply validated Palmer’s feelings that the rule should be a criminal offense.
