Cocaine Reportedly Found At White House Sparks Evacuation
Something very weird has occurred at the White House.
According to reports, on Sunday (Jul. 2) during a routine inspection, a suspicious substance – later reportedly identified as cocaine – was found inside the White House in a work area. The area the substance was found in is reportedly a multi-level part of the famed house that contains the offices of the president, including the Oval Office and the Situation Room. Other offices in the vicinity belong to the vice president, the White House chief of staff, the press secretary, and other staff members. After the substance was located, the White House and surrounding roads were quickly shut down.
A USSS spokesperson shared,
“U.S. Secret Service Uniform Division Officers located an unknown item on the White House complex. As a precaution, the White House grounds were evacuated, and the DC Fire Departments Hazmat team responded.”
The obtained white powder was then tested and allegedly found to be cocaine. Reportedly, a website named openmhz.com, which allows the public to listen to live and archived radio transmissions from first responders, shared dispatch of a D.C. fire official saying,
“We have a yellow bar saying cocaine hydrochloride.”
It’s important to note that reports claim President Joe Biden and his family were away when the incident took place.

Secret Service spokesperson Anthony Guglielmi has not confirmed the initially reported test results of the powder. However, he did share with news publications that additional testing will take place and an investigation is ongoing to determine how the substance entered the White House.
