Jamie Foxx Continues To Be Spotted In Public After Hospitalization For Undisclosed Medical Scare

It looks like Jamie Foxx is back!

The actor has been spotted out and about several times as he recovers in Chicago.

As previously reported, Jamie Foxx went MIA from the public after being rushed to the hospital back in April. While the nature of the entertainer’s condition has not been released, his daughter Corrine offered a few brief updates to fans concerned for the actor.

Shortly after the hospitalization, Corrine stated her father “experienced a medical complication,” and was quick to combat stories that reported the family was “preparing for the worse.” In May, she gave an update on the Oscar Award winner’s situation, stating:

“Sad to see how the media runs wild. My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating.”

Now, it appears the singer is doing much better and has seen great improvement. Over the weekend, Jamie Foxx was seen swinging away at a Topgolf driving range.

An eyewitness told TMZ that Jamie was playing better than the people he was competing against. They also said he had a very strong swing and actually won the game.

The witness added,

“He was walking regular, not dragging his leg. His arm movement were definitely good…He was just regular Jamie.”

Reportedly, the Topgolf driving range is near the rehab facility where Jamie’s been recovering from his medical emergency.

Jamie Foxx made his first public outing when he was spotted on a boat waving to fans. Video footage of the now-viral moment shows a cheerful Foxx cruising along on a mega-boat on the Chicago River Sunday (July 9) afternoon.

In his latest outing, Jamie Foxx was surprisingly spotted helping out a fan. While riding in the backseat of a chauffeur-driven SUV, Foxx’s vehicle pulled up next to a group of people riding through downtown Chicago on a pedicab. Apparently, a woman on the pedicab lost her purse. Somehow Jamie Foxx spotted the purse and was able to return it to its owner. The woman thanked him profusely.
