Kenya Moore Says Estranged Husband Marc Daly Wants Their Daughter On His Upcoming Reality TV Show After Objecting To Her Appearing On ‘RHOA’
Kenya Moore and Marc Daly are still battling it out.
During an appearance on Way Up With Angela Yee, the Real Housewives of Atlanta peach holder shared that the current dispute in their ongoing divorce proceedings stems from her estranged husband Marc Daly‘s desire for their daughter to appear on his upcoming reality television series. If you recall, Marc Daly previously objected to Brooklyn, 4, appearing on RHOA with her mother.
Kenya Moore said,
“When you sue someone for divorce, the custody of the child, the minor, comes into play. So we were very close and then the last mediation, he wants to challenge my right to have the final say on her filming because he’s now on a reality show.”
The Miss USA 1993 winner noted that Daly is keeping the specifics of the show under wraps, at least from her. Kenya Moore added,
“And so now that’s what’s causing the divorce proceeding to move forward because I’m like ‘that’s what I sued you for custody for is because you were trying to keep her off Real Housewives.’ Now you want to be on a show now all of a sudden and you need my permission for her to be on that show because I have final say. And it’s like, it’s just so much bs.”
As previously reported, Daly wanted Moore held in contempt of court after learning of their daughter’s presence during a RHOA scene that showed Marlo Hampton trying to kick down the door of Moore’s hotel room.
Moore argued for primary custody of daughter Brooklyn amid filing for divorce from Marc Daly in August 2021. In response, her estranged husband fought to have the four-year-old removed from RHOA.
In the end, the parties agreed that Moore would have sole custody and Daly would be allowed visitation. The judge contended that Brooklyn could appear on RHOA with restrictions, as he wasn’t convinced Moore would expose Brooklyn to,
“any environment that might not be in the minor child’s best interest, or may in any way be considered dangerous or inappropriate.”
It’s safe to assume the ex-couple will not be finalizing their divorce any time soon.
