Kanye West Joins Travis Scott During Concert In Rome, Marking His First Performance Since Antisemitic Rants

Looks like Kanye West is ready to return to the big stage following the backlash he received for his antisemitic rants.

Rapper Travis Scott recently held a concert in Rome as part of the release of his fourth studio album “Utopia.” While the Houston artist performed his setlist, concertgoers were met with a special guest during the show, Grammy Award-winning rapper Kanye “Ye” West. Before bringing out the controversial “Hey Mama” artist, Travis Scott, real name Jacque Webster, told the crowd there’s,

“Only one human being on this mother f*cking planet that has ever walked side by side with me through anything and every mother f*cking thing.”

Once onstage, the two artists performed their collab track “Praise God,” which is featured on Kanye West’s “Donda” album. Reports claim the Yeezy fashion designer struggled with most of his lyrics, however, the background vocals of the track seem to have “saved” the performance. The musical pair then went on to perform fan favorite “Can’t Tell Me Nothing.”

Kanye’s appearance at Travis Scott’s show officially marks his first big performance since he made antisemitic comments last year.

As you may recall, Kanye faced major backlash surrounding controversial remarks made about the Jewish community during a now-removed 3-hour interview on “Drink Champs.” During his chat with fellow rapper N.O.R.E., he made antisemitic statements, claiming that “Jews who control the media” are working to silence him, and are pushing detrimental agendas on Black people. Many companies have since cut ties with Kanye due to his comments, resulting in him losing his billionaire status.
