As previously reported, Keke Palmer made headlines in July after the father of her child – Darius Daulton Jackson – went on a strange rant, publicly shaming the actress for the black bodysuit with a sheer overlay outfit that she wore to Usher’s Vegas Residency. After revealing he had an issue with Keke Palmer’s stylish look, Darius Jackson doubled down on his stance and said,

“We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is.”

As expected, Darius Jackson faced serious backlash for his remarks. He briefly removed his social accounts, however, once he reactivated his IG, the public quickly noticed that the images he had of Keke on his page were deleted. The new parents have yet to confirm where they currently stand, but many speculate they’re no longer together.

Single or not, it seems that KeKe isn’t allowing Darius’ insecurities to keep her from an amazing opportunity! R&B legend Usher revealed today (Aug. 15) that he’s releasing a music video tomorrow that stars Keke. The trailer for the upcoming track titled “Boyfriend” gives a sneak peek of the tune, with Usher singing,

“Somebody said that your boyfriend is looking for me.”

KeKe is currently sitting at the top spot for USA trending Twitter topics as people weigh in on Usher’s highly anticipated music video.

One user said,

“This is villain activity from Usher and KeKe. Her boyfriend tripped about her being sung to by Usher, then got crucified on social media, only for his girl to be featured in an Usher song called “Boyfriend”. I know his chest CAVING”

Another expressed,
