T.I. & Tiny Harris Countersue Former Friend Sabrina Peterson For Over $160k In Legal Fees After Majority Of Her Defamation Suit Against The Couple Is Thrown Out
Famous couple T.I. and Tiny Harris are firing back after being sued by a former friend.
A recent report from RadarOnline revealed the “Family Hustle” stars are demanding Sabrina Peterson cover their legal bills as most of her defamation suit against them was recently dismissed.

Reportedly, T.I. and Tiny Harris, real names Clifford and Tameka, respectively, filed the countersuit earlier this month. The couple reportedly argued that their time and resources were wasted as they fought the false allegations made against them by Sabrina Peterson. As we covered back in 2021, the Glam University founder went on an accusatory crusade against the music and TV stars, claiming they kidnapped and abused her. She also said they were responsible for a number of sex crimes against other women.

Additionally, Peterson took direct issue with T.I., alleging the southern rap star put a gun to her head and paid his bodyguard to kill her. Tiny’s ex-friend/former reality TV co-star Shekinah Anderson was also named in Peterson’s suit. The fallout from the situation seemed to have resulted in detrimental friction between the Xscape member and her longtime pal. You may recall, the ladies unfollowed each other on social media as news of the suit began to make headlines. Later, Shekinah confirmed they were no longer friends, claiming she didn’t think Tiny was one to begin with.

Though all three defendants made several attempts to have the suit thrown out at its inception, a court judge denied their motions and let the matter proceed. However, earlier this month, that decision was reportedly reversed at the Appellate Court. Now, it seems that T.I. and Tiny are making legal moves to recover money lost as a result of having to engage in the suit. Their legal document reportedly reads:
“The Harrises’ request for $164,650.56 in attorneys’ fees and costs is reasonable and in line with fee awards regularly affirmed in this district,”

Adding:
“Given the complexity of the legal issues, the time necessary to adjudicate Peterson’s seven causes of action over a two-year period, and the additional costs of appeal, the amount requested should be awarded in full,”
It’s noted in the report that only 5 of Peterson’s 7 claims made against the couple were dismissed in the recent court hearing. Thus, the case involving her other two grievances remains open. It is unclear which allegations were thrown out and which are still standing. A judge has reportedly not given a final verdict at this time.
