Tia Mowry Responds To Reports Suggesting She Was Getting Back w/Her Ex Husband Due To The Difficulties Of Dating & Slams “Blogs” For Writing False Stories About Her: ‘I Create The Narrative NOT You For Clickbait’

Actress Tia Mowry is shutting down untrue stories about her dating life.

The 45-year-old took to X (formerly Twitter) recently to set the record straight about where her love life currently stands.

Tia Mowry wrote on the social platform:

“Just because the dating life is complicated. Doesn’t mean I’m going to go back to something that no longer served me. That’s like saying if I don’t book an audition our a part right away I’m going to give up on my dreams as an actor. Please just stop. I ain’t that weak. Please move on because I have . Thank you NEXT.”

And followed up with:

“I’m no longer allowing the lies and BLOGS creating false information. I create the narrative NOT you for click bait. If you don’t hear it from me. It’s all LIES.”

It seems the posts were in response to recent rumors that the TV star was considering getting back together with her ex husband. As we covered last year, Mowry and her former partner Cory Hardrict, 43, shook the internet announcing their divorce after 14 years of marriage. The pair share two children together, and have been mostly quiet about what ultimately ended the relationship. In a post sharing the news, the “Family Reunion” star wrote:

“I have always been honest with my fans, and today is no different. I wanted to share that Cory and I have decided to go our separate ways. These decisions are never easy, and not without sadness. We will maintain a friendship as we co-parent our beautiful children. I am grateful for all the happy times we had together and want to thank my friends, family and fans for your love and support as we start this new chapter moving forward in our lives.”

Since finalizing things, Mowry has been very open and honest about her struggle to date again. Back in august, the actress expressed how she was “nervous and terrified” to begin the process of finding love over again. More recently, Mowry admitted that dating in today’s world is certainly much different that what she had in mind. She reportedly stated during a recent interview:

“It is very tough and very exhausting…My last relationship … it was beautiful…it was amazing. It was wonderful. There was courting that was involved. And I was saying how I feel like that’s no longer present, meaning people just don’t court each other anymore.”

As the clip circulated online, it seems somehow Mowry’s words led some to believe she was hinting at possibly reconciling with Hardrict. The mom of two has made it very clear, however, that she has no intention of doing so. Mowry even doubled down on her stance in the comments section of her post, taking time to respond to a few users who claimed she was being emotional. One user wrote:

“This is an emotional response. Stay grounded love.”

To which Mowry responded:

“No boo boo. This is MY response to stop narratives being said about me. Like YOU. Don’t speak on my behalf thank you. You are NOT me. So just stop please.”

Another said:

“That’s a lot to say. Especially at 6 am..I would never address this publicly and I know we all handle things in our own way but gaddog. I would be to focused on my life and my kids to comment on my ex husband/ their father”

To which Mowry rebutted:

“Boo boo I’m in Europe traveling the world. So it ain’t 6am. Also, you ain’t me either so I think it’s best to stop projecting your life onto mine. Focus on YOU not me. Next”

No matter what anyone else believes, it’s clear Mowry intends on putting herself first in relationships, despite how difficult dating may be.
