Lil Wayne Accused Of Punching & Threatening Man w/ Assault Rifle In New Lawsuit, Plaintiff Says He Believed Rapper Was Going To Kill Him Due To His Previous Gun Charges

Rap star Lil Wayne is facing new assault allegations.

According to Radar Online, the New Orleans native was named in a recent lawsuit from an individual who claims to be suffering from PTSD as a result of the brutal incident.

Court documents show that a man named Carlos Christian reportedly says he was victimized while at Lil Wayne’s home back in December 2021. Reportedly, the plaintiff wrote that musician, real name Dwayne Carter Jr., 42,:

“acted with malice…[and] intended to cause Plaintiff injury or, alternately, despicable conduct the Defendant carried on with a willful and conscious disregard of Plaintiff’s rights and safety; this conduct includes punching Plaintiff in the head while waving a semiautomatic handgun.”

Christian also claimed Wayne positioned a semiautomatic rifle at him, effectively threatening him in a “harmful or offensive” manner. He reportedly added:

“[Defendant] engaged in outrageous conduct, specifically, erratically threatening, assaulting, and battering Plaintiff while holding a semiautomatic rifle.”

As proof that his allegations should be taken as true, the plaintiff reportedly highlighted the rap star’s past crimes involving fire arms, writing in the court document that the situation “reasonably appeared to Plaintiff that Defendant was about to carry out the threat”. In case you’re unfamiliar, Wayne has indeed been caught in his fair share of gun related charges. The entertainer was detained in 2007 on a gun charge and served prison time in 2009 for unrelated weapon charges. In 2020, the “Milli” artist plead guilty to separate firearm charges brought by the state of Florida, but ultimately avoided jail after being pardoned by then President Donald Trump.

Reportedly, the plaintiff wrote that he’s endured “physical and emotional injury,” and claimed “incurring medical bills,” “loss of immediate wages”, and having his “earning capacity reduced” are all reasons he should be compensated. The amount in damages he’s seeking has not been disclosed at this time and a judge has not yet ruled in the case. The report also notes that the timing of Christian’s alleged incident is congruent to previous reports that Wayne pulled out a gun on his bodyguard. Though it’s unclear if the two matters are the same at this time.
