YG Says He Wants To Rekindle Relationship w/ Ex-Girlfriend Saweetie One Day After They Confirm Split

Rapper YG clearly would if given the chance. Last night (Jan. 16) the Compton native took to his Instagram and shared with his 9.4 million followers that he wants to rekindle things with his ex, fellow rapper Saweetie, 30. The candid post came just one day after news of their breakup made headlines. YG, real name Keenon Jackson, 33, shared a video of himself hugged up on Saweetie at what appeared to be a stop on Beyoncé’s “Renaissance World Tour,” which took place last year. He wrote over the footage,

“The only block I’m tryna spin.”

At the time of this report, Saweetie, real name Diamonté Harper, has not publicly replied to her ex. According to TheShadeRoom, the former love birds decided to end things because they are “both busy with their careers, and that’s where their focus is at this time.” As you may recall, rumors surfaced that YG and Saweetie were an item last April. They confirmed things a few weeks later by popping out together on a vacation in Mexico.
