Radio Personality Miss Jones Shares Update On Wendy Williams, Claims TV Host’s Family ‘Moved Her Down To Florida’ To Recover From Ongoing Health Issues
One of Wendy Williams‘ colleagues recently shared an update on her whereabouts.
According to New York-based radio host Miss Jones, the famed TV personality has uprooted her life in the Big Apple to live closer to family members in Florida.

During a recent segment on 94.7 The Block morning show, Miss Jones reportedly shared that she attempted to do a wellness check on Wendy Williams, 59, at the request of many of their shared friends. When she attempted to enter the apartment building the media vet resided in, Jones claimed she was told by employees:
“You’re a couple of months late. She moved.”

After asking around about the situation a bit, Jones said others claimed that Williams was recovering from her illness for a while but eventually fell ill again, seemingly prompting the move. Jones also alluded to there being some truth in previous reports that the TV personality was being taken advantage of by people around her. As we reported back in June of last year, Williams’ adult son Kevin Hunter Jr. alleged that several of his mother’s team members were making decisions on her behalf that he didn’t believe she would make if she was of sound mind.

At the time, Williams was undergoing several complications that seemed to put her on hard times. The media vet had to walk away from her iconic talk show after battling health issues reportedly related to her Graves’ disease and lymphedema. What was meant to be a temporary departure eventually turned into the series coming to an end after more than a decade on air. Rumors then began to swirl that Williams was also battling drug and alcohol addiction while attempting to cope with her personal and health struggles.
In addition, Williams was frozen out of her bank accounts around the same time, as she was reportedly deemed unfit to operate her finances. However, in recent months, Williams has managed to evade paparazzi and has mostly stayed out of the eye of the media.
According to Jones, this is supposedly because she’s now living in Florida with her son taking the time to recover. She continued on the show:
“Because her family’s in Florida and people were coming in her circle that they weren’t familiar with and they didn’t know, like, they couldn’t get access to her when they wanted, they moved her down to Florida…So she is allegedly down in Florida with her son recuperating.”
