‘Jeopardy!’ Contestant Mixes Up Beyoncé And Queen Latifah In ’50 Greatest Rappers Of All Time’ Category
Different queen!
A contestant on ‘Jeopardy!’ is going viral on social media after she confused Beyoncé with Queen Latifah.
In a clip making its rounds on X (formerly Twitter), host Ken Jennings reads the clue as its displayed the screen:
“She invited us to “Come into my house” & also deal with the “Wrath of my madness”; We bow down before this queen”
A contestant, Nicole, instantly buzzed in and asked,
“Who is Beyoncé”
Ken Jennings told her that was incorrect, and another contestant Kat, swooped in with the correct answer.
“Who is Queen Latifah?”
Ken Jennings confirmed,
“Different queen, yeah.”
The #Jeopardy category was “50 Greatest Rappers of All Time”

The clue was a nod to Queen Latifah’s songs ‘Come Into My House’ and ‘Wrath of My Madness’ from her 1989 album ‘All Hail the Queen.’
It was part of Billboard and Vibe‘s ’50 Greatest Rappers of All Time’ list.
Though Queen Bey and Queen Latifah were confused with each other, there’s no bad blood between them in real life.
For Women’s History Month last year, Queen Latifah saluted the women who have inspired her and Beyoncé was named in the high-powered list.
“I’m inspired by so many people. Those who are younger than me and coming up and doing just cool, fresh things and those who are still rocking.”
After recognizing Patti LaBelle, Gladys Knight, Dionne Warwick, and Whitney Houston, the Set It Off actress said,
“What we do is just unbelievable. And, you know, when all else fails, throw on some Beyoncé and dance, you’ll be alright.”
